#MUSICMONDAY: "ACCRA TO LAGOS" BY MR. EAZI (DEBUT ALBUM).

#MUSICMONDAY: "ACCRA TO LAGOS" BY MR. EAZI (DEBUT ALBUM).

It's Music Monday again. And this week, I didn't even have to go snooping. The music came to me, on Google Play (which is the best music streaming service). Mr. Eazi, is an honorary Ghanaian musician (he is Nigerian but he has earned the "Chale" rights) and his new album is really good, if I say so myself.

When it comes to music and art, I prefer people to experience it themselves. Art appeals to everyone differently but this guy will be around for a long while. My favorite tracks on the album are "Leg Over' and "2 People" (which is a very good dancehall song). I struggle to fit his music in a genre. I can feel the "Boga Highlife" influence in there with a lot of hiplife but it still does not fall under any typical genre. The highlight of the entire album was Eazi's perfect Twi and Accra "pidgin English". He is alright with me.

Available on Google Play and iTunes. Support our musicians.
